Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

Today the world lost a remarkable individual and a true tech pioneer with the passing of Steve Jobs. With Steve at the helm, Apple pushed the envelope of style and function – and revolutionized the way we use technology. Steve was a dreamer and an innovator, who will forever be remembered as one of the founding fathers of the digital age. We thank Steve for his vision and his passion, and the tremendous impact he’s made on society. Steve helped make technology what it is today and helped make the world a better place in the process. For that, he will be truly missed – but not forgotten.

The battle for the mobile market is heating up, and it looks like Android has been making some serious strides lately. New figures indicate that about 500,000 new Android devices are activated each day. While this is a staggering number, what’s even more remarkable is the fact that this number is growing by about 4.4% each week. Back in May, this number was closer to about 400,000 devices activated each day. So in just a few weeks, the sales for Google’s smartphone platform (Android) have surged by about 100,000 additional activations per day. It would seem that Google's Android platform is really starting to take off...

Over the past few decades technology has improved by leaps and bounds, impacting nearly every aspect of life. As computers and mobile devices continue to evolve, the role technology plays in our lives seems to be increasingly significant. From monitoring the engines in our cars, to helping businesses run more efficiently, technology has permeated and influenced nearly every aspect of human existence. But one aspect that has been tremendously impacted by today’s technology is our ability to communicate with one another. Social media in particular has revolutionized the way we interact with one another, a fact not lost on Apple.
