One of my Preferred Customers contacted me because they wanted to get a laptop computer and asked for my help. I checked several stores on my shop.com website including Dell, Wal-Mart, Buy.com and even Best Buy, which her son works at. As strange as it may be, the best deal was at Best Buy! When she told her son about it, he told her that he gets an employee discount and that she should buy it that way instead of getting it online through shop.com . When it was all said and done, the employee discount was $20 higher than getting it as a shop.com preferred customer!!! So she bought it on my site and I shared the IBV with my team. This is an example of why we need to make sure our preferred customers are shopping on our websites and that we are there for them as shop consultants. A preferred customer that is not shopping on our sites is just like not having a preferred customer at all. We have the best online shopping website in the world.
