Scottie Pippen seven time NBA all star and one of the 50 " Greatest players in NBA history", has been the only person to have won both NBA championship and Olympic gold medal in the same year. During Pippen's seventeen year career Scottie has been passionate, driven, determined and a dear friend. Kim Kardashian with JR and Loren Ridinger, owners of Market America

Last week, I took some time to sit down with Kim Kardashian to discuss what her life was like -- constantly on the go.  She also shared some advice as an entrepreneur for those looking to become one themselves. Take a moment and read 10 Questions with Kim Kardashian.

You have 3.7 million followers on twitter, how has social media changed the way you do business and how has it affected your personal life brand?

I am almost at 4 million! Hoping to get there this week! I really believe I have a brand for my fans and tools like twitter have allowed me to connect and communicate directly with my fans! I get to hear what my fans are asking for an I make sure I can provide them with a product or information.

Over the past few years reality TV has taken over television, practically anyone can become a celebrity without having or needed the experience. Did you ever expect for your show "Keeping up With the Kardashians" to become this successful and what have you learned from it?

We had a fun idea to share our lives on TV and in no way did we ever think it would elevate to this level. We definitely share our craziness and family feuds but there is so much love and heart in our family, I just think people can relate. We have grown closer as a family from this experience and bottom line we love what we do.

This is an interesting question and my answer is going to be unusual. Most people treat that question shallowly in my estimation. Most people really do not think about a question like this, but immediately start thinking of people to name that they admire, that are famous, or that made an impact on the world. But seriously, how much of a direct influence did they have on your life or thinking? The bottom line is that your thinking is what influences your life, determines your identity and who you are. Unless someone personally mentored you, trained you, coached you, gave you an endowment, put you through school, or something that directly altered the course of your life, I would doubt that they really influenced your life that much. Now, you may admire them or they may inspire you, but I wouldn't consider that necessarily influencing your life dramatically. I look at this differently and I hope this does not appear to be narcissistic, egocentric, haughty, or arrogant because it is not meant to be and really is not at all that way.

Before we even discuss the global culture, I think social media goes has an even greater effect on the way we do business. It levels the playing fields when it comes to communication, publishing, advertising, marketing and merchandizing. Tie that to blogging and e-commerce merchandizing and you have power. It challenges the old paradigm of mass marketing, mass media, and mass merchandizing, which is a system where you pay huge amounts to blast one message to everyone. It is very ineffective and very expensive and it is difficult to measure the results, because you really do not receive any data on who looked at the advertisement and then bought your product.

JR How Did you Develop Such an Extensive Vocabulary?

I have always been an effective communicator and persuasive speaker (so I am told). I have always had a fascination with words and see them as tools that can be used to more effectively express a concept. Additionally, my liberal arts college education nurtured that passion. It is a broad style of education, requiring a lot of reading, writing and research, across a wide spectrum of intellectual disciplines. It cultivates logical thinking, cultural-historical insight and expressive communication.

That is a loaded question. Fundamentally it was an evolution, a metamorphosis culminating in an epiphany that sent us on an amazing journey called Market America for the last 18 years. I saw the same weaknesses and mistakes repeat themselves in the direct sales industry for 10 years as a distributor, independent contractor, sales person and, eventually, as an officer with many companies. I saw the same hypocrisy, short-comings and downfalls repeatedly, but I also saw opportunities that no one seemed ready to seize.

Jr, What would you say had the most impact on your ability to build and develop such an incredible team when you first started in the industry? (Aside, from the "strangest secret") and what is your favorite audio Today? - Ed Fernandez, Forest Hills, NY

Ed, I listen to an audio every day when I run, work out or dive to feed my mind. It's like working out, eating right, meditating or praying, making lists, or taking supplements - it's a habit and a way of life. Therefore, I do not need to be so selective. The thing about audios is that different people need different prescriptions for what their situations are, and one size doesn't fit all.

Market America is leading the parade in an economic paradigm shift. We are fast becoming the ultimate online destination with a Portal that leads to an addictive shopping experience. We are changing the way people shopping experience. We are changing the way people shop and providing an incredible entrepreneurial opportunity for average people to achieve an ongoing income without risk.

The consumer benefits from this because not only do we have an incredible internet shopping experience similar to Amazon, but we have people power. Every customer has a Customer Manager, product broker and personal guide online who ensures the highest quality of service and satisfaction. There is an UnFranchise owner behind the site, who is there for the customer to talk to in person or chat with online - one who knows the customer's unique needs.

Chatterbox is a social network specific to the Market America community of UFOs, customers and friends or neighbors. It is a social hub where anyone can manage all their networks, like Chatterbox, Facebook and Twitter, at once. All updates can be viewed at once and just one post goes live on every social network instantly.

It is a fabulous environment to communicate with, update, motivate or influence other UFOs or customers. It is a great way to virally spread the paid to shop (ma Cashback) and paid to be online programs that people love. It has special channels like entertainment, fashion and shopping for special interest. It is a fun site that lets people express themselves to the world.

Success and failure are relative things. If someone exits a business, what determines if they succeeded? How does one win or loss play into the next win or loss, and do wins or losses count if in the overall scheme of things that person is way ahead. For instance, someone exits a business and sells it after two years because it isn’t making money. Let’s say that person has no substantial financial gain to show for it. So how can that be rated or categorized — smart and successful for getting out with their money before a taking a big hit?
